Woven Darning with Elysha of Worth Mending – December 7, 4:00

Woven darning is the classic way to fix your clothes, so let's learn how! We'll learn two ways to make a woven darn: freeform, and using the made-in-Kitchener Swift Darning Loom. We will learn how to assess damage and choose the right mending technique, choose yarn, set up the darning loom and weave a simple patch. You'll leave confident about your warps and wefts, ready to add new layers of love to all your favourite knitwear (or even 

Supplies provided: yarn, needles, darning tools, and fabric to practice with.  

Bring: your knit garment(s) in need of mending (or one you want to practice on), plus matching yarn if desired. We will have a range of yarn available but might not have a perfect match for you, if a match is what you're after.  

Note: Swift Darning looms will be available for purchase after the workshop for those that would like to take one home
