Mota is a soft and lofty 3 ply worsted spun yarn made entirely in the heart of La Mancha, Spain. It’s the perfect combination of rustic and luxury and an absolutely joy to work with. Colours that have been dyed on a grey base (noted with a “G” in the colour name) have a soft heathering to them.
With the aim of supporting small wool producers and native breeds, Mota is a collaboration with several local ranching families and shows that even the smallest ranches can produce valuable wool. Due to the proximity of the farms to the mill, Mota is produced with one of the smallest carbon footprints on the market.

Yarn weight category: DK-Worsted (although it’s classified as a DK, I find it knits up more like a worsted)
