These duos feature a pair of coordinating skeins inspired by both the male and female plumage of their species. Each set features two 50gm skeins (100gm total) - enough to make a pair of socks; one with male plumage, one with female plumage. Or try making a shawl with both colours!
As an avid birdwatcher and lover of nature, Songbird Fibres mixes her two passions – birds and yarn! The yarn band on each colourway includes some fun facts about the specific bird being featured. Over 1/3 of all North American species are at immediate risk of extinction unless there are significant conservation efforts to reduce their declines. Songbird Fibres donates $2 from the sale of each bird-inspired skein to Birds Canada to help with these conservation efforts.
