Sock School with Johanna - Sept. 29, Oct. 6 & 13, 7:00

Sock School is back in session with a spooky season bonus. Over 3 sessions, we will cover the 3 essential structures of sock knitting: Cuffs, Heels, and Toes. Participants will work a scaled-down training sock, which can be completed with minimal work between sessions. Full-size stitch counts and schematics are provided as notes/reference for those who would like to get going on a full-sized sock between or after the workshop sessions.

Required materials: 40g sock yarn, sock knitting needles between 2.0 and 2.75mm diameter

Recommended: darning needle, stitch markers, contrast/waste yarn or fine crochet cotton thread

Optional Seasonal fun: We'll be checking out the custom Socktober yarns at Flying Squirrel, and for those who want a little more challenge, Johanna will help plan a bit of stitchwork or embellishment for your sock legs/cuffs to show off the yarn at its spooky best.
