There are so many different ways to knit a small circumference in the round. They all produce the same result, so it's knitter's choice as to which method to choose. But how do you know which one works best for you? Come on out to this "needle tasting" workshop where you'll get to try hands-on several different methods of knitting in the round. Take your new skills and apply them to knitting socks, the cuffs of sleeves, the crown of a hat, and so much more!

We'll go over four different methods:

• DPNs (double pointed needles)

• magic loop

• 9" circulars

• two circulars

Try them all out to decide which you like best!

We'll also cover joining to work in the round, as well as some tips on preventing the dreaded twist in your cast on, and how to bind off neatly when working in the round

Level: Step Two You already know how to cast on and knit. Knowledge of circular knitting with a larger circumference (for example a hat) is an asset but not necessary.

Bring Along: Some yarn and needles will be provided for everyone to share. If you'd like to practice on your own needles, bring along a few balls of scrap yarn, around a worsted weight gauge and some needles, around a 5mm size.
