Learn the basics of hat construction and knit up your own chunky winter hat!
This class is for beginner knitters already comfortable with casting on, knit stitch and purl stitch. If you have taken the Learn to Knit class, then this is a great next step!
Jillian from Cabin + Cove will walk you through how to knit the three essential sections of a hat including the brim, the rise and the crown. This class will be packed full of tips and tricks and you will leave with your own completed hat.
Materials needed (please bring these with you to the class):
Yarn: Approx 60 grams of super bulky yarn. Recommended is Crazy Sexy Wool by Wool and the Gang available at Flying Squirrel. An alternative suggestion is Wool Ease Thick and Quick by Lion Brand available at Michaels.
Needles: US 15 10mm 16” circular knitting needles
Notions: Yarn needle, stitch marker
Optional: Pom pom
