A beginner-friendly introduction to knitting cables!

This class is for beginner knitters who are comfortable with casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and binding off.

Jillian from Cabin + Cove will walk you through how to knit this chunky headband featuring alternating cables to achieve a braided effect. Perfect for the winter months, this cozy headband will keep you so warm - and it's a quick and easy gift for others!  

Materials needed (please bring these with you to the class):

• Approx 50g of super bulky wool. Suggested = Crazy Sexy Wool by Wool and the Gang (available at Flying Squirrel) or Wool-Ease Thick and Quick (available at Michaels)
• US 15 10mm straight or circular knitting needles
• One cable needle or spare double pointed needle approximately the same size as the knitting needles
• Yarn/tapestry needle large enough for super bulky wool
