Discover the magic of brioche knitting while making a cozy Harlow Hat.
In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of brioche knitting in the round, including the brioche knit stitch (often called “bark”) and the brioche purl stitch (“burp”). We'll go over how to read brioche patterns and practice working brioche in the round using two colours. We'll also go over some essential tips for keeping your stitches and yarn organized, understanding where you are in the pattern, and staying on track as your project grows.
By the end of class, you'll have the skills you need to continue confidently on your Harlow Hat and beyond.
Level: Intermediate Knitter - you must be comfortable knitting in the round
Materials:
- worsted weight yarn in 2 contrasting colours, approximately 115 m (126 yds) of each colour
- 4mm 16" circular needle
- stitch marker
- each participant must also purchase a Harlow Worsted pattern (let us know if you need help with this!)
