A Sock in Sixty (or so) Minutes, with Johanna - September 20, 10:00

Join Johanna for a speed-run of Sock Knitting essentials - in miniature! These addictive little ornaments can stitch up in under an hour, but we have some extra time to work around the unfamiliar fiddly bits, so don't worry if terms like "gusset", "ribbing" and "DPNs" are new to you. We'll chat about tools, yarn, patterns, and what you might do next with that perfect skein of painted yarn.

This all-in-one workshop includes a sample of quality sock yarn, pattern sheet, and a miniature Sock Blocker keychain/ornament hanger to show off your new sock.

Bring to class: sock needles, in your preferred method for knitting in the round. If you need help choosing needles, just let us know and we'd be happy to assist.
