For newer knitters looking to build their confidence, this session is all about how to identify, diagnose and address mistakes. We’ll talk about reading your knitting, how to pick up dropped stitches, share techniques for safely undoing your work, and offer clever tricks for fixing mistakes without undoing. And we’ll also talk about when you can safely ignore a mistake!
Skill level: beginners to advanced beginners
Homework and materials required: With light coloured worsted or similar weight yarn and suitable needles, cast on 12 stitches and work 20 rows in stockinette stitch. Leave the stitches on your needles. If you have one, also bring a crochet hook in a similar size to the ones you knitted with.
