Amigurumi with Erin – November 2, 4:00

Learn how to make amigurumi (small, stuffed, crochet toys). In this class we’ll learn how to start projects in the round using a magic circle, how to do increases and decreases in crochet, and how to do simple embroidery stitches for facial features. We’ll also learn some amigurumi tips and tricks such as yarn over vs yarn under, stuffing tips, what to do with our yarn ends, and how to apply safety eyes. 

Level: you can comfortably do the basic crochet stitches (chain, single crochet)

Supplies to bring: 

• 2.5 mm crochet hook

• 2 balls of Ricorumi DK in the colours of your choice (we will be making little penguins). Note: it is significantly harder to see your stitches in black yarn so if you’re fairly new at crochet you may want to make your penguin a different colour!

All other supplies are provided.
